Central Coast Literacy Council is a local non-profit, volunteer organization that has been teaching adults to read, write, and speak English since 1983. Initially established to match up students and volunteer tutors on a one-to-one basis, the Council is continuing to grow dramatically by the use of small group instruction of English as a second language and other reading programs in small groups.
